uBondapak/Bondapak
Packings
If your method calls up for uBondapak
C18 packings, there is only one uBondapak C18 packing
material. Waters has set the standard for reproducible,
high-performance chromatographic columns. Waters uBondapak
columns are still the most widely referenced
and requested columns in the world.
Nova-Pak
Packings
The
4 µm small particle size of Nova-Pak bonded phases offers high
resolution, more efficient and faster chromatography by using
shorter columns, reducing solvent
consumption ot
by using longer columns to resolve even the most complex
mixture. Analytical columns with 4 micron particle size packing are available end fittings are available in 75, 150 and 300 mm
length. Semi-preparative columns with 6 micron particle size
packing give you an
unparalleled range of separation possibilities.
Symmetry
Packing
The
new standard of next generation HPLC assay.
Many
of today’s therapeutic compounds contains strongly basic amine
groups that are notoriously difficult to chromatograph with the
simpler, cost-effective mobile phase systems desired in a
manufacturing environment. The result is asymmetrical peaks that
deprive the HPLC system sensitivity.
Some
of the newer “base-deactivated” or “high-purity” column
packing materials can improve peak shape, but you are forced to
work exclusively at low pH, where the net charge of the silica
surface, and therefore, undesirable ion-exchange interactions,
approach zero. In chromatography, pH is one of the most powerful
tools you can use to optimize a separation of mixed analytes for
resolution and analysis time.
If you can’t vary your pH, you may have to work harder
and longer to develop methods. Symmetry columns deliver the same
superior peak shape across a broad pH range, from 2 through 7.
Shaper peaks result in more sensitive methods.
Symmetry columns give you sharp peaks at pH 2 through to
pH 7, using simple mobile phases.
The result is more sensitive, more rugged methods.
The

every Symmetry Column.

Water
Symmetry columns are available in 3.5, 5 and 7
micron particle size material. They offer the highest
performance and reproducibility standards ever achieved.
